The 20-year-old Reds youngster is currently making waves at Doncaster, with one fan calling him “the best player League One has ever seen”.

Liverpool’s academy has produced some quality players over the years, with Trent Alexander-Arnold the latest in a line of big names to come out of Kirkby.
One player who could be making waves for the Reds in the coming years is Herbie Kane, a midfielder described by Liverpool as a “lively player in the middle of the park”.
The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Doncaster Rovers after joining the League One side in August on a deal running until January.
Kane’s recent displays for the South Yorkshire side have seen him win plaudits from fans and football figures alike, with a return of four goals in four games across all competitions, including a header at the weekend against Barnsley.
The youngster has also impressed with his all-round play both as a free midfielder and as a holding midfielder, displaying superb passing ability, composure and movement off the ball.
Rovers boss Grant McCann has been so pleased with Kane that he is hoping to extend his loan deal until the end of the season, although there are currently some “complications” in his contractual situation.

Many of the club’s fans have certainly taken a shining to Kane and have not been shy on the compliments on Twitter, with one even comparing him to Liverpool and England legend Steven Gerrard:
