Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen, and Manchester City star Jack Grealish has noted just how good he has been.

On September 18, 90min reported that Liverpool are interested in signing Jarrod Bowen from Premier League rivals West Ham United.

The report claimed that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admires Bowen’s “style of play” and “his reliability”.

“Bowen is highly placed on the shortlist of potential replacements for Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah,” who could leave for Saudi Arabia, according to 90min.

90min added that West Ham do not want to sell the 26-year-old, who can operate as a winger, midfielder or forward.

Bowen has also just signed a new contract with the Hammers.

Jack Grealish praises Liverpool target Jarrod Bowen

Jack Grealish is a regular for the England national football team, while Bowen is just starting to make a name for the Three Lions.

The Manchester City star has been hugely impressed by Bowen.

Grealish told The Times: “The quality we have in the attacking areas, especially on the wing, is maybe the best in world football.

“It’ll be a tough decision for the manager because there’s so much talent in those spaces.

“There’s Saka, Foden, Rashford, myself. Jarrod [Bowen] has been on fire and now he’s here.

“There’s people who aren’t here like Raheem [Sterling, ignored] and [Eberechi] Eze got injured.”

My View: Liverpool could be able to sign Jarrod Bowen

I believe that Liverpool could be able to sign Jarrod Bowen from West Ham United.

Just because Bowen has signed a new deal with West Ham does not mean that a transfer would not happen.

I do not think that the Hammers will sell the England international in the January transfer window.

Even if Bowen did not sign a new deal, West Ham would not have sold him in the middle of the season.

However, a transfer could happen in the summer of 2024.

After all, West Ham do sell their best players for big money, such as Declan Rice to Arsenal in the summer of 2023.

If Liverpool made a good offer for Bowen in the summer of 2024, then West Ham could cash in on him.
