Liverpool youngster Harvey Elliott is having the time of his life at Blackburn Rovers.
It may have been another defeat for Tony Mowbray’s men against Watford on Wednesday night, but one thing that hasn’t changed is the form of Elliott.
He scored once again for Blackburn, but this time, they fell to a 3-2 defeat against the title-chasers.
Rovers fans were purring over the Liverpool teenager, who is now proving that he is too good for the Championship.
It will be music to the ears for those in Liverpool because it does seem as though their highly-rated talent can make that step up in the summer.
Whether that’s straight into Liverpool’s first-team or another loan spell at another Premier League club, it remains to be seen.
Either way, Rovers fans are well aware that they have one talented kid on their hands and someone who, at times, is carrying them.
Those at Blackburn will still be hoping of securing a play-off finish at the end of the campaign, – albeit unlikely – but it seems as though they need to join Elliott’s party and start putting some stronger performances on the board.
