Some Liverpool fans on Twitter believe that Thiago Alcantara has just dropped a very exciting hint.
The Reds moved top of the Premier League table on Wednesday night by beating Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Anfield.
Prior to kickoff, Thiago, who was in attendance, took a video from one of the stands at Anfield.
The 29-year-old, a £20 million signing from Bayern Munich this past summer, added the caption: “Soon from the field.”
Liverpool have been missing Thiago for the guts of two months following that challenge by Richarlison in the Merseyside derby in October.
Here’s how fans of the Premier League champions responded to the Spaniard’s tweet last night:
The sooner Thiago is back, the better.
Liverpool already have Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Diogo Jota on the injury list, but what a boost Thiago could be.
Despite only playing 130 minutes of Premier League football, the former Barcelona midfielder has been majestic and even set a Premier League record in the game at Chelsea in September for most passes in a 45-minute period.
