Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react after RMC Sport revealed that William Saliba has been hit with a one-month suspension by the French FA.
Why? Well, the Frenchman was involved in an X-rated video a few years ago, which involved a teammate inappropriately touching himself sat right next to the centre-back while on international duty.
The Mirror believe it was filmed three years ago.
The French Football Federation deemed the footage to be harmful to the image of the federation, and French football in general.
Saliba has also been warned about his future conduct, with the sanction set to come into effect on April 26th.
The FFF have clearly had to make an example of the 20-year-old.
You could argue that he deserves to be let off, seeing as the footage was filmed three years ago when he was just 17.
It’s questionable as to why the video has only just become a talking point.
However, a decision has been made, and Saliba must accept that.
Hopefully, it doesn’t impact his future back at the Emirates Stadium.
