Sergio Reguilon has taken to Twitter to react to Tottenham Hotspur’s stunning victory at Manchester City this evening.

Tottenham secured a massive 3-2 win at the Etihad Stadium, courtesy of Harry Kane’s last-minute winner.

Pep Guardiola’s side had equalised from the penalty spot minutes earlier and if anybody was going to snatch the three points, it was going to be the Citizens.

However, Kane, who earlier fired Spurs 2-1 ahead, completed his double in the dying embers.

Sergio Reguilon was left out of the travelling squad after returning a positive coronavirus test.

But here’s how the Spain international reacted to the win on Twitter directly after the contest:

Remarkable

Reguilon, a £27 million signing in 2020 [The Athletic], is very much one of Tottenham’s most important players, as he has proven over the past 18 months.

So for Antonio Conte’s troops to win away to the Premier League champions without the Spanish left-back is quite a remarkable achievement.

Even more impressive is the fact that the Lilywhites had lost back-to-back Premier League outings in North London against Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers, prior to this victory,

Nothing in the form book indicated a performance like this was possible from Tottenham, but that’s the beautful thing about the beautiful game; its unpredictability.
