Greek side Olympiacos reportedly entered talks for Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco when the two sides met in the Champions League last night.
Juventus lost 1-0 to Olympiacos yesterday evening and the Greek side may have also made steps forward in trying to snap up a Bianconeri player who is wanted by Arsenal and Tottenham.
Sebastian Giovinco has cut an increasingly frustrated figure at Juventus and at the age of 27 it seems that the vast natural talent he undoubtedly possesses may never be fully fulfilled.
Giovinco’s agent has admitted that his client may have to move on if he doesn’t get first-team opportunities in Turin and Arsenal and Tottenham are known to be watching.
But Olympiacos may have sneaked to the front of the queue for the forward, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
The two clubs are expected to talk further when they meet again on November 4 in Turin.
If Arsenal or Spurs do want Giovinco they may want to start sounding out Juventus sooner rather than later.
