Olsen says Tottenham’s Eriksen ready for Barcelona or Real Madrid

Morten Olsen worked with Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen in the Denmark set-up.

Former Denmark national football team manager Morten Olsen has told Goal.com that Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen is ready to make a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona.

Olsen was the manager of Denmark from 2000 until 2015 and gave Eriksen his national team debut back in 2010.

“He is already a top player, and he is ready for a team like Barcelona or Real Madrid,” Olsen told Goal.com about Eriksen. “And, for the Danish national team, he is very important.”

Good enough for Real Madrid or Barcelona?

Madrid and Barcelona are two of the biggest clubs in the world, and there is a lot of pressure playing at the Santiago Bernabeu and at Camp Nou.

Eriksen, thought, certainly has the temperament and the quality for play for the Spanish and European giants.

The Denmark international attacking midfielder has established himself as a key figure for Tottenham in recent years.

Not only has the 26-year-old, who earns £75,000 per week as salary according to Spotrac.com, has done extremely well in the Premier League, but the former Ajax star has also proved himself in the Champions League.

However, it is hard to see Eriksen see Tottenham in the summer transfer window, as the Dane is settled at the North London outfit, who are challenging for the Premier League and competing in the Champions League every season.
