Well-known English pop star Olly Murs has told Sky Sports that next week’s match between Liverpool and Manchester United will end in a draw.

Liverpool will face fierce rivals United at Anfield in the Premier League on Monday evening.

Murs, who is a world-famous singer-songwriter and is a United fan, has predicted the match to finish in a 2-2 draw.

“I am hoping that they will sort of be a little bit complacent thinking that we might not do it, that we might not show up because we are not playing that well at the moment,” Murs told Sky Sports. “Hopefully they won’t show up and we will get a result. I think 2-2.”

Liverpool are in better form than United are at the moment and will head into the game on Monday evening high on confidence.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are currently fourth in the Premier League table with 16 points from seven matches.

The Merseyside outfit are just two points behind leaders Manchester City and are very much in the running for the league title.

Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s United are sixth in the standings at the moment with 13 points from seven matches.

The Red Devils have a strong squad, but some of the players have underperformed so far this season.

Mourinho’s side, though, remain one of the top favourites to win the Premier League title during the 2016-17 campaign.
