Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins has raved about his teammate Jack Grealish on BBC Sport (21:27).
Watkins has said that Villa attacking midfielder Grealish is “unbelievable on the ball”, and that the England international finds him more often than not with his killer passes.
The 24-year-old striker, who joined the Villans from Championship club Brentford in the summer of 2020, made the comments following Dean Smith’s side’s 3-0 win against Arsenal away from home at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Watkins scored two goals, while Grealish, who can also operate as a winger, was involved in two of the three goals that Villa put past Arsenal.
The striker told BBC Sport (21:27): “Jack Grealish is unbelievable on the ball. I just have to make a run and hopefully the ball will come and he does find me more often than not so just got to keep making the runs and the goals will come.”
Watkins added: “I think I have another level in the second half you saw what I’m about, getting the ball, setting and spinning and making defenders run towards their own goal, that’s what I’m about so hopefully the more I can do that the more goals I can score.”
