Celtic earned a comfortable 3-1 win over Hamilton on Wednesday evening.

Olivier Ntcham scored his fifth goal for Celtic as he broke the deadlock at Celtic Park with an excellent volley at the back post – and he reacted on Twitter after the 3-1 win over Hamilton.

The 21-year-old has excelled since his move north from Manchester City for £4.5million, beginning to install himself as first-choice central midfielder alongside captain Scott Brown.

Frenchman Ntcham dispatched Scott Sinclair’s cross with aplomb, smashing the ball past goalkeeper Gary Woods before James Forrest and Sinclair got their names on the score sheet to ensure a comfortable three points.

The eight-time France Under-21 international posted a message to his Celtic teammates on Twitter, urging his fellow Hoops stars to “keep working hard” as they remain five points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

Following a loan spell with Genoa, Brendan Rodgers decided to bring Ntcham to Glasgow and he has hit the ground running in 2017-18, scoring five times and providing three assists in 24 league and cup outings from midfield.

Celtic fans reacted to powerful central midfielder’s Tweet with delight for Ntcham. One fan even urged Mtcham to tell manager Rodgers to drop Stuart Armstrong and include him instead, “every game”.
