Celtic beat Dundee 1-0 at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon.
Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham has told the Daily Mail that he felt Cristian Gamboa and Eboue Kouassi both impressed against Dundee on Saturday afternoon.
The Bhoys were somewhat unconvincing against Dundee on Saturday, and claimed a narrow 1-0 win thanks to Ntcham’s second half winning goal.
The Frenchman impressed in the Celtic midfield, but the rest of the Bhoys side were a little off colour as manager Brendan Rodgers decided to rotate his side ahead of the midweek Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.

For instance, Dorus de Vries started in goal in place of Craig Gordon, whilst Rodgers also handed starts to right back Cristian Gamboa and midfielder Eboue Kouassi.
Defender Gamboa has mostly had to sit behind Mikael Lustig in the pecking order at right back since arriving from West Bromwich Albion in 2016, with injuries also damaging the Costa Rican’s chances.
January signing Kouassi, snapped up from Krasnodar, has barely featured for Rodgers having also been forced to put up with injury woes and a number of players in the same position.
Both players started on Saturday though, and midfielder Ntcham has offered his view on their performances to the Daily Mail, stating that he felt both players ‘did well’ after such little playing time.
Ntcham also felt that it was a difficult game against Dundee, but he was delighted to grab the winning goal and try to generate some more momentum ahead of facing Bayern.
“It was a difficult game,” said Ntcham. “We started slowly, but we got better the longer the game went on. For the players who came in, it was a good experience because they haven’t been playing a lot.”
“Eboue (Kouassi) had been injured and (Cristian) Gamboa hadn’t played a lot this year so it was okay for them. I think they did well. For me, personally, it was good to get the goal. I enjoyed it a lot,” he added.
