Olivier Ntcham impresses for France Under-21s

Olivier Ntcham, who joined Celtic from Manchester City in the summer transfer window, was in action for the France Under-21 side on Thursday.

Celtic paid as much as £4.5 million in transfer fees to Manchester City in the summer transfer window in order to secure the services of Olivier Ntcham, as reported by BBC Sport.

The 21-year-old had struggled to make his mark at City, but the midfielder did well during his loan spell at Genoa in Italy.

It was the youngster’s performances for Genoa that must have convinced Celtic to splash the cash for the France Under-21 international.

The performances of Ntcham so far this season have been quite encouraging, with the youngster showing his quality and talent.

The former City prospect was in action for the France Under-21 international against their Montenegro counterparts on Thursday.

Ntcham started the match and played for 65 minutes. During his time on the pitch, the youngster looked very mature in midfield and played some very good passes.

The Celtic youngster played his role in the France Under-21 international’s 2-1 win.

The former City prospect is playing well and is progressing well, and this must certainly be very encouraging for the Celtic fans.

With the likes of Moussa Dembele, Patrick Roberts and Scott Brown taking all the headlines in recent weeks, Ntcham has gone slightly under the radar.

The Frenchman is a gem, and he could develop into a superstar at Celtic in the coming years.
