Celtic new boy Olivier Ntcham hopes to play in the Champions League.
Celtic face Astana in the Champions League qualification tie on Wednesday, and new signing Olivier Ntcham is hoping to play a part in it.
According to reports from the Daily Record, the 21-year-old, who joined from Manchester City this summer, is desperate to be included in the starting line-up for the European games.
Ntcham watched Manchester City go head-to-head with Celtic in two massive matches in the Champions League last season, and now wants to get the feel of playing in the elite European competition.

The Frenchman has settled extremely well at Parkhead and has already produced some brilliant performances, including his match winning goal against Partick Thistle on Friday.
Ntcham also adds that it would be a “strange feeling” if Celtic miss out on the Champions League group stages.
“I hope to play. I watched the City and Celtic games last season. They were two good games and I hope we are going to do well,” said Ntcham, as quoted by The Daily Record.
“Do Celtic belong in the Champions League? Yes, they do. If Celtic don’t go into the Champions League, it will be a strange feeling.”
The Scottish Champions have started the 2017/18 campaign on a high note having won both their league games so far.
The first leg of the Champions League qualifying round will be played at Celtic Park, and Rodgers surely will consider using Ntcham at some point during the game, especially after his performance in the last match.
