Olivier Ntcham hails Celtic team-mate Eboue Kouassi after his run in the first team.

Olivier Ntcham has told The Scottish Sun it’s obvious to him that Celtic team-mate Eboue Kouassi is improving on a game-by-game basis.
It has taken a while but it looks like the 20-year-old is well on his way to becoming a big player in Brendan Rodgers’s side.
The Ivorian midfielder, a £2.8 million signing last January, has made seven Celtic appearances this calendar year, having only played on four occasions during the first half of the season as injuries to Tom Rogic and Stuart Armstrong appear to have paved his way into first-team contention.

Kouassi was brilliant in last week’s Europa League win over Zenit St Petersburg, posting his best game for the Hoops so far, and his French team-mate has acknowledged his upward trajectory.
He told The Scottish Sun: “Game after game, Kouassi is getting better and we are seeing what he is able to do.”

Kouassi is likely to start again in St Petersburg for the second leg, and the fact that he previously played for South Russian side FC Krasnodar bodes well for his capacity to handle the occasion – and the weather – on Thursday.
