West Ham United are reportedly trying to sign Olivier Giroud from Chelsea this summer.

Olivier Giroud was saddened by Jack Wilshere’s move to West Ham United this summer, but the transfer could work out well for him.
According to the Daily Mirror, West Ham want to sign the Chelsea striker in January.
And if the Hammers do bring Giroud in, it would give the target-man the opportunity to link back up with Wilshere.
Giroud and Wilshere played together at Arsenal for a number of years, before the midfielder decided to leave the Emirates Stadium in the summer.
And when asked about Wilshere’s move to West Ham, Giroud sad the transfer upset him.
“It’s big news and I’m very sad to hear it, because he’s a good friend,” Giroud said to the Metro back in the summer.
“Jack is a good lad, a very good player, very talented and it is a shame he has had so many injuries.

“But he came back well last season and it was good to see him on the pitch, enjoying his game and being strong.
“It’s a big loss and I hope he will bounce back as soon as possible at a good club.”
Wilshere’s move to West Ham has not worked out just yet, with the England international currently out injured.
But if West Ham did sign Giroud, the switch would likely be welcomed by Wilshere, who would surely look forward to linking back up with his former teammate at the London Stadium.
