Olivier Giroud says Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero is ‘crazier’ than Jamie Carragher after AC Milan booted out the Premier League side from the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea player was asked by Jamie Carragher ‘who is crazier me or Romero?’ following his red card against the Italian giants.
During Carragher’s playing days for Liverpool, he was known to be a pretty aggressive and in-your-face defender, but he has probably found his match in Romero.

Despite being on a yellow card during a crunch game for Spurs and late in the second half, the £43 million star (Football London) proceeded to lunge in on a tackle, receive a second yellow card and just made matters worse for his team.
Did it cost Spurs? Not really. They were heading out anyway because this Harry Kane-reliant team can’t score for love, or money. That’s not Romero’s fault, but the sleepwalking tactics of Antonio Conte.
Nonetheless, following AC Milan’s progression, former Premier League man Giroud was in conversation with Carragher and this is what was said, as they told CBS Sports on Paramount+ (08/03/23 at 10:50 pm).
“Romero got the red card tonight,” said Carragher to Giroud. “Who is the more crazier and aggressive, Romero or me?”
“That’s a good question,” said Giroud with laughter in the background. “No, no. We (Carragher and Giroud) didn’t play much against each other.
“I would think so say him (Romero).”

TOTTENHAM’S NIGHT TO FORGET…AGAIN!
12 months ago, everything was rosy in the Tottenham garden and Conte was taking the club places.
They were going to finish above their north London rivals in the table and that belief they could win a trophy was growing.
Well, fast forward to the present, Arsenal are heading for the Premier League title, Spurs are at risk of missing out on the top four and they have been booted out of every competition.
