There was an unlikely crossover between sports and music during England’s World Cup match on Wednesday evening.
The Three Lions beat Croatia 4-2 at the Dallas Stadium, with goals from Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford.
Thomas Tuchel’s side could not have done much more to convince fans that football is finally ‘coming home’ this summer.
One of those supporters may be singer-songwriter Olivia Dean, who shouted out England during her latest concert.
What Olivia Dean said after Harry Kane scored for England
Olivia Dean has emerged as one of the most popular singers in the United Kingdom over the last few years.
Dean has broken records with several chart-topping hits, such as ‘Man I Need’, ‘So Easy,’ and ‘Rein Me In’ with Sam Fender.

Outside of music, Dean is a big football fan; she grew up in Greater London and supports West Ham United.
Therefore, she was keeping a close eye on the score of England’s World Cup opener against Croatia on Wednesday.
Dean even interrupted her latest concert, ‘The Art of Loving Live’, to inform fans that Harry Kane had just scored.
Her announcement was well-received, even though the concert took place in Paris, France, rather than in England.
“England just scored. Yeah!”, Dean shouted, before moving on and performing ‘Man I Need’.
Hopefully, the Three Lions will have as much success in the United States as Dean has with her latest album.
The global superstar is set to tour North America later this summer before touring Australia and New Zealand in October.
Meanwhile, the England national team could be touring the States and Mexico for several weeks before the final in New York.
