The Tottenham Hotspur starlet surely has a bright future in the game.

Tottenham youngster Oliver Skipp spoke to reporters after he made his first ever start for the club on Saturday against Burnley, and shared how he reacted when he saw his name on the team-sheet an hour and a half before the game, as quoted by the club’s official website.
The 18-year-old central midfielder is highly rated at Spurs, and his recent rise to prominence could not have come at a better time for Mauricio Pochettino, with Mousa Dembele’s contract expiring in the summer.
Tottenham still have plenty of top class central midfielders, though, so Skipp will still have to do a lot to convince Poch that he is worthy of a regular place in the starting XI.
The Spurs teenager spoke to reporters after his fine display on Saturday, and admitted that he was nervous when he found out that he was starting the game, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“So I knew about an hour and a half before kick-off. We go through the usual team meeting, and I saw my name on the team-sheet and I was just delighted. I was obviously nervous but happy to have gained the manager’s trust.”
Next up for Tottenham is a trip to bitter rivals Arsenal in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, and it would be no surprise to see Skipp start the game at the Emirates.
He has proven that he is good enough to play at the very highest level, and another fine display against the Gunners on Wednesday would greatly improve his chances of starting regularly for Spurs.
