Speaking on Tottenham Hotspur’s YouTube channel, Oliver Skipp has been waxing-lyrical about Tanguy Ndombele’s performances in training.
The midfielder was answering a number of questions on the YouTube channel, and inevitably he was asked about training sessions with the first-team.
Skipp says that the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son are impressive, but he singled out Ndombele for some extra praise.
What’s been said?
Skipp was asked about which players have impressed him in training, and he named Ndombele amongst the most impressive.
“I was doing a finishing session with Harry, Sonny and Eriksen, wow. Just the ball striking and the finishing. Tanguy as well, he does some incredible things, you have to double check it,” Skipp said.

Talented
Tanguy Ndombele may not always show it on the pitch, but this is an incredibly talented footballer.
Skipp says he’s fantastic in training, and he’s not the first person to say such a thing.
Indeed, Gareth Bale has previously compared Ndombele’s training performances to Brazilian legend Ronaldinho, so he’s clearly doing something right behind the scenes.
Fingers crossed Ndombele can begin to show more of that talent this season after another campaign that blew hot and cold in 2020/21.
