Tottenham youngster backs potential star.

Oliver Skipp’s successful pre-season performances for Tottenham Hotspur have seen him elevated into the club’s senior squad.
Skipp has taken advantage of injuries to first team stars and potential breakthrough talent Luke Amos.
He is still yet to start a senior game, but teammate Harry Winks has told the Ham & High that the Tottenham squad feel Skipp has already proven himself to them.
For Skipp this is crucial, as it’s half the battle won when he does make his debut and will help him feel more at ease knowing he has the trust of his teammates.
Winks said: “He is a good player, we all know he is a good player and I think he has the right mentality to go far.”
Mousa Dembele’s injury may end up giving Skipp a chance over the upcoming weeks.

Tottenham did not sign any players in the summer and they could look to make up for this in January by bringing a couple of new faces in.
Skipp will be hoping any new additions are not central midfielders as they will make his task more complicated.
Mauricio Pochettino has shown him a lot of faith so far considering his young age, and whether it be this season or next, Skipp will soon get his chance to show what he can do.
