Aaron Ramsdale continued to impress for Arsenal on Saturday.
The Gunners made it back-to-back Premier League victories by beating Burnley 1-0 at Turf Moor yesterday.
Arsenal rode their luck at times and were fortunate not to concede at least once.
On the other hand, they have a top goalkeeper between the sticks in Ramsdale and therefore luck might not have come into it.
The former Sheffield United stopper made a string of fine saves to preserve Arsenal’s clean sheet.
And here’s how his brother reacted to the 23-year-old’s performance on Twitter:
Leno
On this form, Bernd Leno won’t be getting the number one shirt back anytime soon, it has to be said.
The German didn’t do much to warrant being dropped to begin with.
But you have to say that Mikel Arteta made the right decision nonetheless because Ramsdale has really grasped this opportunity with both hands.
He has started three games since his £30 million move to Arsenal and Ramsdale is yet to concede a goal, so the proof is very much in the pudding.
