Sheffield United beat Leeds to signing Oliver Norwood.

When Sheffield United host Leeds this weekend, midfielder Oliver Norwood is likely to play a prominent role.
The midfielder has started 16 Championship games for the Blades since signing on loan from Brighton late in the transfer window.
Opponents Leeds United were rumoured to be keen on Norwood, with The Sun reporting on deadline day that the Whites were hoping to seal a £1.5 million move, also reported by The Express.
Norwood stayed at Brighton at the deadline, later going on loan to Sheffield United instead.
The midfielder helped Fulham win promotion last season and is now hoping to help the Blades do the same.
He has been an integral part of their success so far, with Sheffield United in fifth, just two points behind Leeds in second place.

Leeds’ own loan deal for midfielder Lewis Baker has been a flop, with the Chelsea youngster starting only one league game this season, in which he was subbed at half-time.
Norwood, 27, is a proven commodity in the Championship and Leeds’ faith in youth has in this instance failed to work out.
The midfielder struck his first goal for Sheffield United in midweek as he turned in a man-of-the-match performance against Brentford.
He is coming up against the side which nearly signed him at the perfect time.
