Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have been heavily linked with Oliver McBurnie ahead of the summer transfer window.

McBurnie has put himself into international contention, and made his debut in Scotland’s defeat to Costa Rica last week.
The youngster now wants to break into Scotland’s team on a regular basis, and a move to Rangers would surely help him achieve that.

He said: “I can only thank the gaffer for taking note of that, and hopefully if I keep scoring at Barnsley then the next cap will come.
“I never look too far forward, but when Griffiths was injured it was a massive boost. For a striker, there’s not a lot to pick from at the minute. It’s up to us to go out and stake a claim for that position. You’ve got to throw your name in the hat.”
McBurnie has been heavily linked with a move to Ibrox, and he is a Rangers fan.

And by making the switch north of the border, he would immediately be thrown into direct competition with Griffiths.
McBurnie has scored prolifically on a loan spell with Barnsley this season but if he was to move to Ranges then his achievements could be put into direct comparison with Celtic front man Griffiths’.
McBurnie could be a good option for Rangers in the summer transfer window, as his contract at Swansea City is running out, which could make him a potential bargain buy.
