Celtic and Scotland striker Leigh Griffiths is rated highly by Rangers-supporting Swansea City striker Oliver McBurnie.

Rangers fan Oliver McBurnie has spoken highly of Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths to The Scottish Sun.
Swansea City striker McBurnie was part of the Scotland squad this past week, while Celtic star Griffiths decided to pull out due to fitness issues.
The 22-year-old, who is a boyhood Rangers fans as reported by The Daily Record and often revels in wins for the Gers on social networking site Twitter, seems to rate 28-year-old Celtic and Scotland international striker Griffiths highly.
McBurnie told The Scottish Sun: “Playing for my country is the pinnacle. I want to do it as many times as I can.
“More experienced guys know their bodies and it’s their decision. It’s disappointing for the squad not having Leigh here. He’s a great player.”

Quality striker
McBurnie is a very good striker who has been playing well for Swansea in the Championship in England so far this season.
The 22-year-old striker has scored four goals and provided two assists in 11 Championship starts for the Swans so far this campaign, according to WhoScored.
Interestingly, McBurnie was linked with a move to Rangers in the summer transfer window before he signed a new contract with Swansea in the Championship in England.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, July 1, 2018), Rangers made a £4.5 million bid for McBurnie (click here to read more).
Griffiths – who has been on the books of Celtic since January 2014 when he joined from Wolverhampton Wanderers for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £1 million – himself has been in brilliant form for the Hoops in recent weeks and is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership.
The 28-year-old former Wolves striker is an important player for Scotland and will be so in the coming years.
