Oliver McBurnie has confirmed that he would like to sign for Rangers one day.

Barnsley loanee Oliver McBurnie has told The Scottish Sun that a January move to Rangers didn’t materialise, but he would love to sign for the Ibrox club one day.
McBurnie, 21, has been emerging with Swansea since his 2015 move from Bradford City, and even made three Premier League appearances for the Swans this season before being sent out on loan in January.
The striker was wanted by a host of clubs, but ended up picking Barnsley, and he has enjoyed a superb spell at Oakwell, hitting six goals in nine games for the Tykes.

McBurnie will return to Swansea at the end of the season, and it’s unclear what the future holds for him, as staying with the Swans, being loaned out again or being sold all seem about as likely as each other.
There had been whispers of interest from Rangers on transfer deadline day, but no move materialised – and McBurnie has now discussed that situation.
McBurnie has told The Scottish Sun that he was told at 3pm on deadline day that a move to Rangers wasn’t happening, and he then had to pick from a host of other clubs pursuing his signature, eventually choosing Barnsley.

However, McBurnie has confirmed that he grew up supporting Rangers, and he would love to play for the club one day, and will see if he is lucky enough to pull on the famous blue shirt at some stage in his career.
“There were murmurs about Rangers in January but nothing ever happens easily or simply for me,” said McBurnie. “I got told about 3pm on deadline day that nothing was going to happen and I had a certain amount of clubs to pick from. I ended up choosing Barnsley and it’s going well for me at the minute.”
“Would I play for Rangers down the line? Of course. I grew up supporting them and one day I would love to pull on the jersey. We’ll just have to see how my career goes and see if I am lucky enough to pull it on,” he added.
