Oliver Burke joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on loan from West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window.

Burke, who joined Celtic on loan from West Brom in the Championship in England in the January transfer window, has been playing as a striker for the Hoops.
The 21-year-old former Nottingham Forest star has made three starts and one substitute appearance in the Scottish Premiership for the Glasgow giants, scoring two goals in the process, according to WhoScored.
Burke has suggested that he is enjoying his role as a striker under Celtic boss Rodgers.
The Scotland international told The Glasgow Evening Times about playing as a striker: “To be honest I really like it. It’s good to have flexibility and learn different positions so I can either go out on the wing or push into the striker role. I feel it’s working for the team. I’m enjoying it.
“I’ll play anywhere to be honest, we’ll just have to see what happens when the manager picks the team and the formation. But I’m sure I can adapt and I’ll just try and help the team as much as possible no matter where I’m put.”

Back in form
Burke struggled during his time at West Brom, and it is great to see the youngster getting back to his best.
The 21-year-old winger still needs to do more, and it is encouraging that the Scotland international winger is enjoying his role as a striker.
With Celtic aiming to win the domestic treble this season and also progress beyond the round of 32 in the Europa League, Burke will be an important player for the Hoops in the coming weeks and months.
