The Scottish winger left the club in the summer.
This summer Nottingham Forest fans were left bitterly disappointed by the club’s decision to sell talented winger Oliver Burke.
The Scottish starlet was sold to German big-spenders RB Leipzig, on the same day he inspired a win against Leeds United in the Championship and not long after the club said they would not sell him.
Forest have struggled to recover ever since and their transfer record under Philippe Montanier was questionable at best.
The Frenchman is gone, and in his place Gary Brazil has helped Forest bring in some good players.
Burke, himself, is clearly impressed.

The winger told thesetpieces.com:
“I’ve seen they’ve made a few good signings, so hopefully they push on and become better.
“I’ve got a lot of love for Nottingham Forest and I was there all my life really, so I want them to be doing better.
“It’s sad to see them drop down to the lower table but I’m sure they’ll dig out of there some way or another.”
There is no doubt that Forest fans are more excited by the arrivals of Ross McCormack and Zach Clough then they were with that of Nicklas Bendtner and Lica.
Scotland’s Oliver Burke
Forest have certainly done a good job in bringing in some impressive looking players.
Time will have to tell if the players brought in on deadline day can have the desired impact at the City Ground.
Perhaps the club have finally replaced some of the attacking threat they lost when Burke was sold.
