Oliver Burke has criticised the Nottingham Forest hierarchy for the way they allowed him to leave the club with not much of a fight to keep him at the City Ground.
The Scottish winger was sold by Nottingham Forest to German big-spenders RB Leipzig for a fee reported by the Daily Mail to be in the region of £13 million.
It was a deal that left Forest fans livid with the club for selling their prized asset after he had enjoyed a brilliant start to the Championship season. The comments from Burke today will certainly not cheer up Forest fans.

He had this to say to the Daily Mail about chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi and the club in general regarding the lack of fight from the club to keep him:
“To be honest I didn’t feel they really wanted to keep me,’ he says. ‘I feel they were very happy to take the money and let me go.
“A lot of people are saying my agent forced the deal for the money. It was never forced. I didn’t have talks with Fawaz, but we knew they were accepting offers, anything over a certain amount.
“I thought they could have at least pulled me aside and said, ‘Look, this is going on.’ Had a chat.”

It certainly sounds as if Forest were more than happy to cash in on their asset this summer and fans at the club were left wondering where the ambition from Forest was regarding this sale.
The club could certainly do with Burke right now. They are winless in their last seven games and are currently 18th in the Championship.
