Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers picked up three points today and new boy Jason Cummings played a role.

Jason Cummings scored his first goal for Rangers this afternoon.
The 22-year-old hitman came off the bench to add a crucial second on 82 minutes to make it 2-0 to the Gers away to Ross County, who grabbed a last-minute consolation.
The Scottish striker joined Rangers on a half-season loan from Nottingham Forest last week and fans of the Ibrox club will be hoping that it’s the first of many.

And one high-profile Gers supporter, Swansea City’s Oli McBurnie, was among the first to offer his congratulations to the 21-year-old’s former Scotland Under-21 team-mate on Twitter.

Cummings, who scored 47 goals for Hibernian during his final two years in Leith, is certainly well equipped to take the Premiership by storm, even if the bulk of his career goals have come in the Championship.
Still, there is every chance that he, along with Alfredo Morelos, can take Graeme Murty’s side to a new level during the second half of the season and although winning the Premiership is a tad optimistic, they should certainly have enough to finish second ahead of Aberdeen.
Consequence of the win, the Gers leapfrogged Derek McInnes’s side in the Premiership table on goal difference.
