Rangers beat Celtic 1-0 at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
Rangers moved level on points with Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon as they beat the Bhoys 1-0 at Ibrox.
The Gers were beaten 1-0 by Celtic earlier this season, and having failed to beat them in the league since 2012, Steven Gerrard was desperate for a win.
After some patchy showings of late, Rangers turned in a sensational display, completely overpowering Celtic in the first half as chances came and went.
Ryan Jack did open the scoring though, as his shot from a Ryan Kent cutback deflected into the net via Scott Brown – and that proved to be the winner.
Ibrox was bouncing throughout the game, with Rangers fans inside the ground basking in the glory of a massive win, with supporters around the world joining in.
One such fan is Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie, a player Gerrard wanted for £4million over the summer according to The Sun.
McBurnie stayed at Swansea but remains a massive Rangers fan, and took to Twitter to post photos stating that Glasgow is blue after the victory.
McBurnie wasn’t finished there, also posting a ’55’ flag, a reference to Rangers chasing a 55th league title – and after beating Celtic, McBurnie isn’t the only one allowing himself to dream this season.
