McBurnie was described as a ‘doubt’ by Graham Potter, but his Instagram story proves he is in the squad to face Leeds.

Graham Potter described Oli McBurnie as a doubt ahead of Wednesday night’s clash between Swansea and Leeds United – but the striker’s Instagram story proves he has travelled to face the Whites.
Leeds-born McBurnie, 22, scored a brace against the Whites back in August as Leeds came from behind twice to secure a point thanks to goals from Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez.
Now, the two sides meet at Elland Road but Potter was quoted by Leeds Live as saying that McBurnie could miss the Championship encounter: “He’s just had a period where he’s picked up a few things so we’ll have to be careful.
“He trained lightly yesterday and I think it was tough for him to come on (versus Millwall) but we’ll make a decision on Leeds closer to the time.”
But McBurnie, who scored nine goals in 17 games for Barnsley on loan last season, has teased fans by suggesting that he is in the Swansea squad to take on Leeds – by posting a video of “roomie” Daniel James on his Instagram story.

James, 21, is set to face Leeds on Wednesday night, despite coming so close to pulling on the white of Leeds following the January transfer window. Having passed a medical, his move to Elland Road fell through in the final moments.
The Swansea academy product is likely to take to the field despite his move to Leeds failing to be confirmed, and he could be joined by McBurnie in attack in a crucial Championship game for Leeds on Wednesday.
