Wolverhampton Wanderers were interested in signing Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City in the summer.

Oleksandr Zinchenko should regret not moving to Wolverhampton Wanderers when he had his opportunity now.
Zinchenko was linked with Wolves back in the summer, as reported by Sky Sports, but he decided to stick with Manchester City.
At the time Zinchenko was reluctant to leave City, even after the two sides agreed a £16 million fee, but he may well think that was the wrong decision.
Wolves have surpassed all expectations during their first season back in the top flight, with their results being highly impressive.
Nuno’s side are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table, and they have also reached the semi-final of the FA Cup.

Zinchenko potentially could have played a key role in Wolves’ side, but he has instead had to watch on from the sidelines at City.
Zinchenko has actually broken into City’s team recently, but he has just eight league starts to his name this term, and at the age of 22 his future will surely be speculated about again in the summer.
And, given Wolves’ impressive season, he may wish that he had taken the move to Molineux while it was on offer.
