The Celtic midfielder has been linked with a loan departure from the club.

With the transfer window open there is a possibility that some of Celtic’s talented youngsters could leave the club on loan this month.
One player who may well fall into that category is Kundai Benyu, with the talented midfielder being heavily linked with a loan move to Oldham Athletic, as reported by The Sun.
Benyu joined Celtic from Ipswich Town last summer but has so far been on the periphery of proceedings for Brendan Rodgers’ team and has been restricted to just four appearances for the club across all competitions, only one of which has come in the league.

Should he stay at Celtic for the rest of the campaign it appears unlikely that Benyu will be heavily involved, meaning a loan spell could be extremely useful for the 20-year-old.
Provided that he plays regularly in League One, a temporary switch to Oldham would be a good move for Benyu and playing in a physical league would help to prepare him for the challenges that lie ahead when he eventually returns to Celtic.

Celtic should certainly look to get this loan deal done as soon as possible to give Benyu sufficient time to settle in at his new club.
