Competition for places at Wolves is tough and it will be even harder for players to break into their first team next season if they win promotion to the Premier League.

Young striker Duckens Nazon is a player on the fringes, having been sent out on loan to Oldham Athletic last month.

The Haiti international is doing all he can to get noticed, and at the weekend was a key contributor in Oldham’s League One clash against Blackburn.

Nazon fired two goals, with one of them in particular a bit special.

Nazon’s efforts caught the attention of Wolves teammate Dominic Iorfa, who congratulated him on his goals.

Oldham struggled defensively in the second half and almost let Nazon’s two goals go to waste.

Blackburn fought back to go level but Oldham held on to claim a 2-2 draw.

Nazon, 23, is a player with a bright future and while Wolves are accelerating forward at a rapid rate, the promising striker still has a chance to be part of their success.

More performances like at the weekend will strengthen his case.
