Leeds United striker’s FA Cup involvement is over.
Leeds United’s Lee Erwin had a mixed night for loan side Oldham Athletic as they were dumped out of the FA Cup by non-league Lincoln City.
Erwin has had a difficult time at Oldham so far this season, following up a disappointing debut campaign for Leeds United last year after his switch from Motherwell.

Oldham were beaten 3-2 away to Lincoln, who are currently second in the National League, England’s fifth tier.
Erwin has now scored just three goals in 23 games for Oldham, although one of his strikes did win the club goal of the month award for November.
Last night he did not find the scoresheet although he did contribute to one of the goals with a superb assist for teammate Billy McKay to slot home in the second half.
It was redeeming moment for Erwin, who prior to the pass was getting blasted by unimpressed Oldham fans on Twitter…
Erwin’s late flick redeemed his night somewhat but it was too little too late, there was scarce acclaim from Oldham fans for his part in the goal.
With the game broadcast on BT Sport it was a chance for Erwin to impress observers, and while his assist will make his personal highlight reel, there was little else to get excited about.
Looking for positives, Oldham boss Steve Robinson stuck with him rather than haul him off, and the pass could give him confidence heading into league matches, which Erwin will need with the club sitting in 23rd place out of 24 teams in League One.
