Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers will face Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic at Celtic Park next weekend.

Foderingham did not feature for Rangers in their Scottish Premiership game against Heart of Midlothian at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper missed the 2-1 win against Hearts due to injury, and Rangers manager Murty has suggested that the former Swindon Town goalkeeper is a doubt for the Scottish Premiership game against Celtic at Celtic Park next weekend.
Murty has also suggested that central dander Bruno Alves could sit out the Old Firm derby next weekend.

“Wes has been struggling with an issue for a while and we thought it was right he didn’t play,” Murty told BT Sport. “He ruled himself out himself because of it.”
The Rangers boss added: “As for next week, we’ll have to assess Wes later on. Bruno has got a hamstring pull from last week. Again we’ll have to see how he is for next week. It’s too soon to say right now.”
Blow for Rangers
Foderingham is Rangers’ first-choice goalkeeper, and one suspects that manager Murty will want him to be fit and ready for the match.
Alves has not been exactly great for the Gers this season, but the Portugal international is a very good centre-back with a lot of experience.

Boost for Celtic
Meanwhile, Celtic could have Moussa Dembele back for the match against Rangers at Celtic Park.
According to The Daily Record, the French striker, who missed the weekend’s game against Hibernian, will be available for the game against the Gers.
Dembele is one of the best young strikers in Europe, and the availability of the 21-year-old will enhance the Hoops’ chances of winning the Old Firm derby and winning the Scottish Premiership title.
