Leeds United got back to winning ways after a couple of disappointing results.

Leeds United recorded a much-needed victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend, with summer signing Kemar Roofe getting the only goal of the game.

The 23-year-old had to wait patiently to break his duck after arriving from Oxford United off the back of a superb campaign, and while some Leeds fans were questioning his ability he set about proving them wrong with a big contribution.

The result ended Leeds’ run of just one point from their previous two matches, and it took them up to 10th in the Championship table, just three points outside the play-off places.

After the game some of Leeds’ players took to social media to have their say, including Eunan O’Kane and Hadi Sacko.

The two recent additions have settled well at Elland Road and are already playing a major role for Garry Monk’s side.

After the victory O’Kane acknowledged that while it was not the prettiest of performances it was a massive win, while Sacko revelled in his key role in Roofe’s strike.

The goal-scorer also took to Twitter although he opted to acknowledge the team as a whole rather than celebrate what could be a key moment in his Leeds career.
