Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left excited by claims that they are interested in both Sven Botman and Nikola Milenkovic.
Fabrizio Romano said to the We Are Tottenham Youtube channel yesterday that Jose Mourinho’s side are assessing both players ahead of the summer.
The transfer insider says that while Tottenham are unlikely to do business this month, they will assess the pair ahead of the summer transfer window.
And Spurs fans feel that both Milenkovic and Botman would be good additions to their side.
Mourinho’s side have certainly improved defensively this season, and are giving up very few goals from open play.
However, Tottenham’s tendency to concede late in games has seemingly left Mourinho open to signing another centre-back.
The Spurs boss appeared to criticise the quality of his side’s backline after a recent draw with Fulham, when the Lilywhites once again conceded late on.
If Spurs were to move for Milenkovic or Botman both would surely be fairly pricey additions, as they are regarded as two of the best young defenders in Europe.
