It’s crunch time for Liverpool who are heading into their final few games of the season with their Champions League destiny in their own hands.
The common theme of the season for Liverpool has been injuries and Jurgen Klopp hasn’t had many press conferences where he hasn’t spoken about those in the treatment room.
Well, ahead of this final hurdle for Liverpool, he had some positive news to bring in that Diogo Jota has a ‘tiny chance’ of being fit for their weekend showdown with Crystal Palace, as he told his pre-match press conference ahead of their trip to Turf Moor.
Before all that, Liverpool will take on Burnley, who were the first team to end their unbeaten Anfield record this season.
But Liverpool will still need to get three points from that Palace game on Sunday if they are to hear the Champions League theme tune next season.
And if Jota can be available, even just from the bench, then that extra spark might just prove to be the difference.
Liverpool fans aren’t just happy that Jota could play on Sunday, but they are also pleased that his injury isn’t too serious in the fact that it will allow him to play at the Euros.
Portugal are the defending champions and Jota will be looking to work his penalty-box magic, alongside one of the greats in Cristiano Ronaldo.
But before all that, the former Wolves man will be hoping he has one more goal in him for Liverpool which sends them into the top four.
Here is a selection of Liverpool fans reacting to what they’re hearing from Klopp about Jota:
