Leeds United fans have all had the same message for Robin Koch after his latest tweet: ‘Don’t get injured’.
Leeds have had a potentially disastrous international break, with both Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente picking up injuries.
It leaves Marcelo Bielsa’s options at the back now looking seriously short, with Koch is only natural senior player in the position available.
The hope is that Cooper’s and Llorente’s lay offs won’t be long-term ones.
But, with Germany set to play later this evening, Leeds fans are desperate for Koch to get through the game unscathed.
If Cooper and Llorente are sidelined this weekend, Koch will be given a different partner in Leeds’ defence.
It seems most likely that Pascal Struijk or Luke Ayling will be selected to start in the heart of the Whites’ defence, while their other options are sidelined.
Leeds next match comes against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday evening.
