Well, just days after Ezgjan Alioski left Elland Road, it seems Raphinha has wasted no time in taking the North Macedonian’s number.
Eagle-eyed Leeds fans spotted the No.10 on Raphinha’s shorts in the latest training ground footage released by the club.
It comes after Rodrigo also changed his number, taking the No.19 shirt from Pablo Hernandez following the Spaniard’s exit.
It’s not a major update, but some supporters like to see their favourite players wearing the standout numbers.
It’s aesthetically pleasing, and in some cases – like Cristiano Ronaldo’s CR7 brand – it can also become the making of a player’s aura.
Raphinha has arrived
If his debut season in the Premier League wasn’t exciting enough, we’re expecting even bigger things from Raphinha with his new number.
It may only seem like a minor detail.
However, for an attacker to go from No.18 to No.10, it has the potential to make the Brazilian feel that bit more important.
