Leon Bailey has reportedly completed his medical ahead of a move to Aston Villa this summer.
According to the Daily Mail, the Jamaican international conducted his medical in Miami. Bailey was part of the Reggae Boyz side that competed in this summer’s Gold Cup in the United States.
Villa announced on their official website that a deal had been agreed with Bayer Leverkusen for the 10-cap Caribbean star.
Indeed, Bailey will become Dean Smith’s third signing of the window.
The Midlands side have flexed their financial muscle in impressive stylethis summer. As well as signing Ashley Young on a free, Villa completed a club-record transfer on former Norwich City star Emi Buendia.
As per BBC Sport, Villa paid £33m for the ex-Canaries playmaker. Moreover, the Daily Mail report that Bailey will cost the Birmingham side £30m this window.
