Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after adidas finally released the club’s new home shirt ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
What’s the story?
Well, by the looks of things, the Elland Road faithful don’t like it.
Adidas have changed the 2020/21 shirt ever so slightly, by adding yellow trim to the kit instead of blue.
Adidas have also added a buttoned collar, which replaces the round neck from last season’s strip.
However, there is a rather ghastly addition – the sleeve sponsor.
What does it look like?

Last term, JD Sports decorated the club’s sleeves with a simple ‘JD’ in a black circle.
This time, however, BOXT have taken over, and have pretty much tainted the new home shirt.
We can see a huge, dark blue box on the sleeve of the new home strip, which offers a harsh contrast to the lighter colours.

Dark blue just doesn’t mix with yellow and white. The clash is rather unsightly.
Also, the actual writing of ‘BOXT’ can only be seen at the bottom, so much of the box is actually empty – very strange.
Nevertheless, let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying about the new home shirt, after it was finally released…
