Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to reveal their love for Scott Banks’ exquisite goal in the Under-23 side’s win over Wolves.
The 19-year-old received a pass from Christian Benteke out on the right flank of Selhurst Park, before dribbling round a few players with some nifty footwork.
Impressively, the teenager then exchanged a one-two before slotting the ball neatly into the bottom-right corner.
It was an excellent effort, and it’s not the first eye-catching thing Banks has done for the Under-23 side so far this season.
The Scottish forward, who Palace signed from Dundee United in January for just the cost of £200,000 in compensation, has notched two goals and an assist in only four Premier League 2 games so far this term.

The young Eagles find themselves in a higher division after Palace achieved Category One academy status over the summer.
It appears that Banks has taken to it like a duck to water.

Transfermarkt shows that the former Alloa Athletic winger has operated on both flanks so far this season, and it looks like he’s enjoying himself after moving to south London from Scotland.
Let’s see what the Palace fans on Twitter have been saying about Banks’ wonderfully taken goal…
