Marcus Forss had a night to remember as the Brentford FC star hit a stunning four goals in a 7-0 win over Oldham Athletic.
The 22-year-old striker has been at the club since 2017. However last night felt like Forss’ real introduction to the Brentford faithful as the Finland international tore the roof down in west London.
Forss hit three goals inside the opening half before adding a four after the restart, becoming the first player in Brentford history to score a hat-trick for the Bees in the League Cup.
The emphatic result puts Brentford in the fourth-round of the competition. And supporters will now be hoping for a deep run in the League Cup after Forss’ unbelievable showing against Oldham.
Indeed, the striker was overshadowed by Ivan Toney last season in the Championship. Yet despite this, Forss still managed ten goals in all competitions for Brentford.
The Finnish striker is starting to develop well, and his historic performance last night proved that Forss is beginning to flourish into an excellent player who can compete at the top.

And on social media, Brentford fans were astonished with how prolific Forss was in front of goal last night.
Here’s what some Bees fans had to say about Forss scoring a ridiculous four goals against Oldham on Twitter…
