The former West Ham manager has been impressed with Antonio, who is a winger by trade, but has been deployed upfront by manager David Moyes.
According to WhoScored, the 30-year-old has scored two goals in four Premier League matches for the Hammers so far this season.
During the 2019-20 campaign, the former Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest attacking player made 19 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for the London club, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

Antonio has developed into a very important player for West Ham and has shown his versatility.
A winger by trade, the 30-year-old has also been deployed at right-back on occasions, and now he is playing upfront.
For West Ham to have a successful season, the Englishman will have to be on top of his game throughout.
