Tottenham Hotspur supporters on Twitter believe that Dele Alli might be about to explode at Everton.
Toffees manager Frank Lampard gave Alli his Premier League debut on Tuesday during the 3-1 defeat at Newcastle United.
It was the 26-year-old’s first game since leaving Tottenham on transfer deadline day last Monday.
The England international left Spurs as a misfit with multicoloured dreadlocks hanging from his head, almost a symbol of how Alli became more flashy off the pitch than on it.
However, the former MK Dons starlet showed up at St James’s Park with the same regular haircut that he had during his very best years under Mauricio Pochettino in North London.
And some Lilywhites supporters on social media are saying that normal service might resume for Alli might resume on the field at long last.
Improvement?
Well, this isn’t biblical times and hair is in no way connected to a man’s strength or weakness.
However, it could potentially indicate that Alli is focused on being just a footballer again and leaving the unorthodox hairstyles to one side.
Physically he does look like the player who became one of Europe’s most exciting youngsters under Argentine manager Pochettino for a number of years at Tottenham.
And hopefully for Everton’s sake he can be that player again, too.
