Arsenal fans have reacted on Twitter as footage emerged of Willian in Brazil after signing for Corinthians.
Football London reporter Chris Wheatley posted a clip on Twitter of the departed Arsenal man meeting with his emotional father after re-signing for his boyhood club.
These last 12 months have been troublesome for Willian and that three-year contract he signed last summer was ripped up by the winger before deadline day.
According to Sky Sports, he has left nearly £20 million on the table at the Emirates and signed for Corinthians as a free agent.
Well, when the footage emerged of Willian in Corinthians, where he was meeting his tearful father, the Arsenal faithful were taken aback.
Many Arsenal supporters are well aware that things just didn’t work out for the player in North London.
But now that he has left, it seems as though the opinion has changed on him slightly.
Supporters are seemingly warming towards the former Chelsea man a lot more, especially after watching the above footage.
Not forgetting that he seemingly let up so much of his money in his contract that helped the Gunners massively from a financial perspective.
It’s going to be interesting to see how the tricky speedster fares in Brazil and what type of performances he puts in.
