Liverpool fans have been left gutted after Jurgen Klopp’s injury update from his press conference yesterday, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

Klopp has confirmed that Thiago, Joel Matip and Naby Keita will all miss out on featuring in this evening’s game against Midtjylland in the Champions League.

And Liverpool supporters are disappointed by the latest update, as they were hoping that their injury problems would be starting to ease by now.

Liverpool are really struggling with injury at the moment, with a number of key players out.

Virgil van Dijk is currently sidelined with the aforementioned trio which reduces the numbers available to Klopp significantly.

Liverpool have still managed to get off to a winning start in the Champions League though, as they beat Ajax in their opening fixture.

The Reds also go into tonight’s game as the favourites, with Midtjylland very much the outsiders in Liverpool’s group.
